This consolidated notice covers contribution terms, privacy, retention, safety, email, and accessibility.\nTermsPrivacyContribution and data useRetention and deletionSafetyEmail preferencesAccessibility\nTerms\nSnap For Water is an experimental service operated by iNDX.earth. You must be an adult to submit. Use the service lawfully and only from places you are permitted to be. The service is provided for product testing and may change or be unavailable.\nPrivacy\nWe minimize personal data. A photo submission does not require a name or email. We store the photo, location provenance, GPS coordinates when read from photo metadata or supplied by a trusted campaign/API client, timestamps, campaign source, tags, note, consent versions, technical logs, and an opaque device identifier when supported. Precise coordinates and raw media remain access-controlled and are never placed in public URLs.\nContact and feedback records are kept separate from publicly releasable observation data. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion through the contact form.\nContribution and data use\nYou grant iNDX.earth a limited permission to receive, privately store, inspect, and use your submitted photo and metadata to test and improve Snap For Water. You confirm that you took the photo or have permission to submit it and that it does not intentionally identify another person. This permission does not grant public or scientific reuse rights.\n“Received” does not mean screened, accepted, validated, or scientifically useful. Submitted photos will not be presented as scientific evidence.\nRetention and deletion\nSubmitted photos are temporary private test data. The current operating default is review through the product-testing and product-review period, with a provisional 60-day retention marker. A final deletion date requires owner approval. Deletion removes the private media object while retaining a minimal audit record proving what was deleted and when.\nSafety\nStay on permitted routes; do not enter hazardous areas; do not photograph identifiable people; protect sensitive wildlife locations; and never take a photo while operating a boat, bicycle, or vehicle. Do not take risks to make a contribution. Follow all venue, land-manager, and emergency instructions.\nEmail preferences\nContacting us or providing feedback does not subscribe you. Subscription requires a separate unchecked choice. Program updates are intended to arrive approximately monthly, and every program email includes an unsubscribe link.\nAccessibility\nWe aim for keyboard access, screen-reader labels, readable contrast, large touch targets, reduced motion, and plain language. Tell us through the contact form if something prevents you from participating."}]}
